Creating Clickable/Editable Images in Max/MSP

Hi all, I am working on a project in Max/MSP that I'm not sure how to accomplish. Basically, it is a sound installation that is going to be reactive to the upcoming election. I want to create an interactive electoral college map (like https://www.270towin.com/) that I can toggle and interact with as election results come in - so that means starting from a blank map of the US and then the states are turned red or blue as the election progresses. Then as I toggle states to change to a certain color, assigned sound frequencies are activated and layer on top of each other. The sound part of this is fairly straightforward I think, but I'm really unsure on how to create an image, like an editable map, and have those changes affect other things (like frequency values) in real time. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

3-way pict -> use bpatcher ->3 fpic inside

look at [bpatcher] tab 3 "using offsets"

you will have to make a separate "none" "Blue" and "red" image for each state and assemble them like a puzzle. (lot of photoshopping!)

then put list of offset controls on the side of the screen

fun AND funny!

Thank you! I think that will work. When I tried your patch it seems like the images disappear in presentation mode - any idea why that's happening?
