Good materials to learn and understand max's jxs GLSL?

Hello, i am a newbie in max, but have some programming background and understanding of computational geometry, but found myself struggling to understand the process of creation of custom shaders for jit GPU objects. I also haven't found any extensive documentation on the topic. Are there any bible sort of material on this topic? idk if that relevant, but i am using max9. Thanks in advance everyone!
