VST-3 plugin (Instrument) parameter name output to comment/label?

Hi all,

I just started using M4L to make a wrapper for this VST instrument. It works, but the only problem I have is showing the parameter name on a label/comment. I don't want to hardcode it, as they change when using different presets in the instrument.

I mapped the buttons based on the numbers, which don't change. But I want the dials and sliders to show the correct name. I already saw it's impossible to change the short name on the fly, so I thought: why not do it with a comment?

I can't seem to output the parameter name. How do I do it? And how do I refresh it every time it's needed?

Like I said, I just started and Googling and reading the documentation told me not enough to continue.
