So, I'm a little confused here. I'm currently bulding a Max for Live device but I was building it in normal Max as a project until recently. Then I had to export it as a amxd because I started working with live.object stuff. 

Well, the problem that now has occured is, that I don't really understand where Max/Live saves my subpatchers and scritps and stuff. 

The problem is that I have a JS file that includes another JS file (where a class is located) and I don't know how to access these files now. The inspector only tells me the blank file name without the path and when I edit the original file (the one I used in the original Max project), obviously nothing changes as this isn't the linked file anymore. 

So, I guess there is surely a best practice for this but I just can't find anything on the web that helps me here. Hope anyone can help me with this.

It's unclear for me how to monitor the position of gridshape being transfered by anim.node from one point to another. In the async Promise i have to resolve the function and free memory when animation is done, in other words stop the animation when the end coordinate is reached. Can't find in docs and examples.

I'll share the code snippet I have problems with below, with three of my unsuccessful attempts commented out. I have also tried to use Task for these purposes but it didn't go well either.

Listening to or monitoring jitter object's position in js api inside async await func

Hello, I am working on a project using mostly v8 and dicts which requires a lot of directed movement of objects. I want to create javascript classes that represent certain gridshapes and move them with certain speed and direction according to information provided in dictionary. I want to get familiar with some examples of how you can control the movement of figures in v8 javascript api, i guess you can use some of Jitter3dUtilsInterface functions for that. For example, if i understand it right, i can represent some gridshape as follows:

In my current project, I'm implementing a system where impulses traverse a graph, with each impulse having its own set of attributes. An impulse starts at a specific vertex using a startImpulses() function, and as it moves through the graph, it updates its position according to its individual parameters. Each impulse can be thought of as a self-contained unit that moves from one point to another, following the edges of the graph. The graph itself is stored within a dictionary, where each vertex holds coordinates and connections to other vertices.

Now, I'm looking for a way to represent impulse as jitter object with three characteristics, which interpolates from one coordinate to another with some kind of ramp like [line 0 1] acting as time representation. Bang is used as framerate

In the node.script help "basic" tab, if I press the "script npm --version",

I´m just trying out the javascript for Max implementation. However, I don´t seem to find anything on how to create classes. When I try to define one with the "class

I'm trying to make a device that dynamically monitors changes in the chains of the drumrack device, namely whether the name of any of the 128 (0-127) chain changes. 

Since I am an absolute beginner in javascriprt, I made this script using chat GPT, this is all I could get out of it after spending a couple of months. It is also likely that the script is far from ideal.

I would like the script to display the id of the chains in which changes occurred and the new name of the chain (Chain: id N, Name Changed: New Name).
