gtm.markov is a Max package built around two external objects for generating second-order Markov chains, which were developed using RNBO and codebox. The package is freely available in the Max Package Manager and, in addition to the externals themselves, includes a number of example patchers, RNBO-based versions of the externals, and accompanying video tutorials detailing how the externals were developed and compiled.
The RNBO patch and codebox code upon which the external objects are based was originally developed in 2023 one element of the generative soundscape for a series of immersive performances entitled "Together Un/Tethered", which ran natively on Raspberry Pi.
